How to Replace Your Hearing Aid Battery
When you hear 2 or more beeps from your hearing aid, it signals that the battery needs to be swapped out. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to replace the battery in your hearing aid.

Step 1: Take out the old battery
Find the battery compartment on your hearing aid. Open it and carefully take out the battery.

Step 2: Peel off the adhesive label
Remove the adhesive label from the positive (+) side of the brand-new battery and leave it undisturbed for 5 minutes.

Step 3: Put in the new battery
After 5 minutes, place the new battery in the battery slot with the positive (+) side facing up.

Step 4: Close the battery drawer
Shut the battery drawer, ensuring that it is securely closed. You will hear a jingle when you bring the hearing aid near your ear.
How to Care for Your Hearing Aid Batteries
Taking proper care of your hearing aid batteries is crucial for maintaining optimal performance. Here are some practical tips for extending your battery lifespan and the best ways to store them.
Extending battery lifespan
Turn off your hearing aids when not in use to avoid unnecessary battery drain and leave the battery compartment open overnight to allow any moisture to evaporate.
Additionally, when replacing the battery, let it rest for 5 minutes after removing the sticker. This simple step allows the air to activate the battery, leading to a longer lifespan that can extend by several days.
Storing spare batteries
Keep spare batteries in a dry place at room temperature. Avoid storing them in refrigerators or freezers, as well as in humid or hot areas, as these conditions can shorten the lifespan of your batteries. Additionally, avoid carrying loose batteries in your wallet or pocket, as contact with coins or keys may lead to a short circuit.
