Behind-the-ear (BTE) hearing aids
BTE hearing aids are small, discreet devices with a casing that sits snugly behind the ear. A tube, which is attached to the casing, delivers sound to the ear canal. Available in various colours, the casing can be made to match your skin tone and hair for a more seamless look.

Traditional behind-the-ear (BTE)
Traditional BTE hearing aids are designed to cater to individuals with severe to profound hearing loss. These devices are slightly larger compared to RITE/RIC hearing aids.

Receiver-in-the-ear (RITE/RIC)
Suitable for individuals with mild to profound hearing loss, RITE/RIC hearing aids are often preferred due to their small size, comfortable fit and lightweight design.
In-the-ear (ITE) hearing aids
ITE hearing aids are tiny custom-made devices worn inside the ear canal. Each device is moulded according to each user’s ear canal for a comfortable fit. These custom fit hearing aids are available in a range of colours to suit individual preferences and to ensure they are as discreet as possible.

Invisible-in-the-canal (IIC)
IIC hearing aids cater to those with mild to severe hearing loss. They are designed to sit deep inside the ear canal and can be removed using a thin plastic ‘pin’ connected to the device.
This type of hearing aid is highly discreet and is the smallest among the ITE hearing aids.

Completely-in-the-canal (CIC)
Individuals with mild to severe hearing loss can benefit from CIC hearing aids. These devices fit completely inside the ear canal, though they are slightly larger and more visible than IIC hearing aids.
Depending on the angle, the face plate and battery drawer may be visible to others.

In-the-canal (ITC)
ITC hearing aids are suitable for those experiencing mild to severe hearing loss.
These devices, which are larger than IIC and CIC hearing aids, tend to be more noticeable in the lower section of the ear.

Half-shell/Full-shell
Half-shell and full-shell hearing aids are suitable for individuals with mild to severe and even profound hearing loss.
These hearing aids are the largest among the ITE devices and are designed to be worn in the ear/concha rather than in the ear canal.
